Hello everyone!

Thank you for visiting our site. Compact Staffords is owned and operated by Jose and Jeanie. We are a very small kennel presently located in Pontiac, Michigan. We are owners/breeders/handlers who enjoy, love and care for the Staffordshire Bull Terrier breed. We oppose any and all dog fighting along with any and all forms of animal cruelty. We strongly oppose and fight against all Breed Specific Legislation.

Both of us were born and raised in families of dog enthusiasts. We are very active in AKC/UKC shows and Stafford world, as members of local clubs. Our Staffies live in the house with us as members of the family and are raised with our children.

All of our dogs are OFA health tested for hips, elbows and heart, eyes certified, DNA tested and mirco-chipped. We are aspiring to always strive to improve our stock along with the breed's future. Champion dogs are rarely just born. A true Champion dog is the result of discriminative breeding, constant training, good to great conditioning, genetics, impeccable care and an excellent balanced nutritional diet. To even own and have a purebred dog breeders have had to be very selective in their breeding programs for decades. We will continue to do the same and all we can do to increase our knowledge and understanding of this wonderful breed. Although Compact Staffords has done very well in the show rings, we have never forgotten that all staffords are companions first.

We have a very limited number of litters per year 1, for this reason we are very selective to whom and where place one of our dogs. We try to carefully place are dogs in responsible and loving homes. We require that all persons interested in obtaining a dog from us, fill out our questionnaire and provide three references before acquire a dog. At Compact Staffords all dogs come with a contract (pet/show/co-owned) and with a health guarantee. Any pups sold as a pet shall be spayed or neutered before being placed in its new home.

Please keep in mind that Staffordshire Bull Terriers are not for everyone. Please take some time to do your research about the breed and breeders before obtaining a dog from anywhere or from anyone. Staffies are a people dogs and should be a member of the family not simply a novelty item. We hope that you enjoy this site and feel free to contact us with any questions.
